Why didn’t I tell you a million times?

When a worried Yui files a missing persons report for her boyfriend Naoki, she encounters Detective Uozumi, who later runs into Naoki in the street.

Determined to know what happened to Naoki, Yui asks Uozumi to investigate. At Naoki's apartment, they discover a curious text message on his computer.

The detectives tell Yui that Naoki may have been involved in a murder. Later, they meet with Naoki's father, who speaks about his past with his son.

Wondering why his body hasn't been found yet, Naoki decides to search for it. Yui learns that a boy who came to Naoki's restaurant has gone missing.

As more facts of the case come to light, Rio cryptically threatens Yui at her salon. Later, Naoki invites Yui on a date through Uozumi.

Upset that Yui is moving into his apartment, Naoki asks Uozumi to stop her. Uozumi's sister gives Naoki a hint about how his spirit can move on.

After Uozumi learns he may have a neurological condition, his sister warns him to stay away from Naoki. Later, Naoki tells Uozumi where Rio was taken.

Uozumi obtains a charm to protect himself from Naoki's ghostly influence. Wanting to help Ha-young find peace, Yayoi asks Uozumi for one last favor.

Uozumi tries to find an opportunity to help Yui, who does her best to stay calm. Eisuke begins to explain what happened between him and Naoki.

Although Naoki has no idea how much time he has remaining before he disappears for good, he and Yui resolve to enjoy it to the fullest.
