A studiat pianul si actoria la Universitatea din Los Angeles si a debutat cu roluri in spectacole de teatru. A jucat in piese ca The Wandering Whore- Playwright's Arena (Los Aangeles), Phobia- Century City Playhouse (Los Aangeles), Living the Dream, Cyberqueer, Eastern Standard, Babes in Toyland- Light Opera of Manhattan (New York), Souvenirs of Old New York- Theatre of the Open Eye (New York).
In anul 2000 a fost distribuit in filmul After Sex, regizat de Cameron Thor, in rolul lui Tweedle Dee, apoi a jucat in seriale TV. In 2003 juca rolul lui Daniel Birge din serialul The Guardian, in scurt metrajul SF Zombie Rights!, regizat de James Cude, in rolul lui Ted Nugget.
A fost vocea unor personaje in filmele de desene animate ca Aunt Fanny's Tour of Booty (2005),Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties (2006).
In 2006 a jucat rolul unui profesor universitar in filmul The Heart Specialist, a aparut in serialul Ugly Betty, apoi in Monk (2007)- Justin Groom, Scrubs (2007), Over Her Dead Body (2008), The Middle (2009), Parks and Recreation (2010).
