A fost actor și producător, cunoscut pentru filme, precum: The Sopranos -1999, Donnie & Clyde -2005, The Pleasure of Your Company -2006, Ghost Town -2008, The Caller -2008, The Taking of Pelham 123 -2009, Going the Distance -2010, Between Floors -2010, See Saw -2011. În plan personal, Dennis a fost căsătorit cu Nina Roselli. Au avut un copil.
