Matt Greenberg s-a născut în 1964. Ca actor, el a apărut în producții, precum: The Tunnel of Love-1958, The Killing Box-1993, The Invisible Man-2000. Ca scenarist, Matt a realizat scenarii pentru filme, ca de exemplu: The Killing Box-1993, The Prophecy II-1998, Halloween H20: 20 Years Later-1998, Reign of Fire-2002, Camera 1408-2007, Seventh Son-2014, Pet Sematary-2019. În plan personal, el este căsătorit cu Valerie Mayhew, din 31 decembrie 2001 și în prezent. Au trei copii.
