Actorul american Robert Adler s-a născut la 24 martie 1906, in Hoboken, New Jersey, S.U.A.
A jucat teatru la început si in 1945 apărea in câteva filme muzicale de la Hollywood, ca Diamond Horseshoe, State Fair.

In 1955 a debutat la televiziune, in rolul lui Mark din serialul The 20th Century-Fox Hour, a avut apoi mai multe roluri in My Friend Flicka (1955-1956), a fost sofer in The Tall Man (1960), Rawhide (1961), Lawman (1962), serif in Have Gun - Will Travel (1962), barman in Laramie (1962), Emmett Bowers in Gunsmoke (1962), orasean in Temple Houston (1964), Charlie in Bonanza (1961-1964), cersetor in Batman (1966), pescar in Felony Squad (1967), Gil Barreto in Lancer (1968), satean in Land of the Giants (1968), ordonanta in Daniel Boone (1966-1970).
Robert Adler a murit la 19 decembrie 1987, in Glendale, California.
