Sam Mercer

Sam Mercer (Producator) si-a inceput cariera de producator independent in 1993, dupa ce lucrase 7 ani ca producator executiv pentru Walt Disney. Primul sau film ca producator independent a fost hit-ul de box-office: "Congo" -regizat de Frank Marshall si produs de Kathleen Kennedy si de Mercer. Au urmat "The Relic", pe care l-a produs impreuna cu Gale Anne Hurd, "The Sixth Sense", "Mission to Mars".

Mercer s-a alaturat companiei Walt Disney in 1986 si a fost producator executiv al unor filme precum: "Good Morning, Vietnam", "Three Fugitives", "Dead Poets Society", "Quiz Show", "The Joy Luck Club", "Born Yesterday", "Swing Kids", "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" si "Arachnophobia".
