- Franklin Lazlo (Tom Arnold) este disperat: falimentul il va lasa fara trupa ambulanta pe care o conduce si, in plus, mai este si afundat in datorii. In disperare de cauza, se hotaraste sa faca ceva, drept care insfaca un pistol de jucarie si se duce sa jefuiasca o banca. Dar, in afara de faptul ca reuseste sa puna pe urmele lui politia, niste jefuitori profesionisti de banci si o doamna de fier a autoritatilor locale, nu are prea mult succes.Cu toti acesti indivizi pe urmele lui, Franklin gaseste totusi o solutie sa scape.
