- În 1969, după o ceartă cu managerul lor, Alan Klein, ducând lipsă de bani, membrii formației s-au mutat în Franța alături de un amestec eclectic de femei frumoase, traficanți și dependenți de droguri, muzicieni, tehnicieni și bucătari francezi. Aici, în subsolul vilei lor închiriate, după multă muncă în fiecare zi, în primele ore ale dimineții, a luat naștere cel mai de succes album al celor de la The Rolling Stones, Exile On Main St.. Avându-i pe Mick Jagger și Keith Richards ca producători executivi, documentarul prezintă această perioadă exuberantă de scandal…
