- Bazat pe celebrele și îndrăgitele personaje create de Hergé, filmul urmărește aventurile unui tânăr și îndrăzneț reporter pe nume Tintin (interpretat de Jamie Bell) și ale credinciosului său câine Snowy. Din clipa în care Tintin devine posesorul unei machete de vapor care ascunde un secret bine păstrat de secole, Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine - un individ ticălos și diabolic - pornește pe urmele lui. Sakharine (interpretat de Daniel Craig) este convins că Tintin a furat neprețuita comoară a unui pirat pe nume Red Rackham. Cu ajutorul lui Snowy, al istețului dar impulsivului…
