- Viata unui trib de indieni din Vestul Salbatic era linistita pana cand in regiune au inceput sa apara exploatarile petroliere. Sefii companiei reusesc sa puna mana pe pamantul tribului prin metode neortodoxe, iar seful tribului primeste o instiintare prin care i se aduce la cunostiinta ca are 24 de ore sa paraseasca teritoriul respectiv. In mod firesc, seful de trib este decis sa opuna rezistenta si le ordona membrilor tribului sa-l omoare pe prima "fata palida" care va intra in sat. Acesta nu intarzie sa apara, dar in loc sa fie un agent al companiei petroliere e doar un entomolog in cautare…
