Five days of intense competition and 1,444. 99 kilometres in the challenging Qatar desert, will test cars and drivers to their limits. Although the event has attracted many teams and competitors, the 3-time Dakar winner Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah stands out prominently. Al-Attiyah has proven to be a force to be reckoned within the cross-country rally scene. Only just missing the mark in the last Dakar Rally, the born and bred Qatari will be keen to compete and impress on home soil.

Competitors traverse 250 kilometers in seven days over rough country terrain with only a place in a tent and water provided and support from the very best operational and medical teams provided. Manateq Qatar Cross-Country Rally signaled the opening round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies at the stunning, awe-inspiring state of Qatar. Organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), the event has attracted 33 teams and competitors from 17 nations. Five days of intense competition and 1,444. 99 kilometres in the challenging Qatar desert, will test cars and drivers to their limits. Although the event has attracted many teams and competitors, the 3-time Dakar winner Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah stands out prominently. Al-Attiyah has proven to be a force to be reckoned within the cross-country rally scene. Only just missing the mark in the last Dakar Rally, the born and bred Qatari will be keen to compete and impress on home soil.

Welcome to the world of the 4 Deserts Race Series, the only international ultramarathon series which mixes local culture with trail running. The 4 Deserts Race Series is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious outdoor running series in the world. It is made up of 4 of the most iconic and toughest races in the world - the Sahara Race in Egypt and Namibia, the Gobi March between China and Mongolia, the Atacama Crossing in Chile and The Last Desert in Antarctica. Competitors traverse 250 kilometers in seven days over rough country terrain with only a place in a tent and water provided and support from the very best operational and medical teams provided. Through this documentary, we will travel to two destinations of the 2017 4 Deserts race calendar; China for the Gobi March in the great Gobi Desert and Chile for the Atacama Crossing in the Atacama Desert, an area of extraordinary beauty and astounding natural wonders.
