July 12, 2004 was a very special night at the Montreux Festival for any blues fan. With Carlos Santana as musical director (and special guest guitarist), three musical legends took to the stage. Each one delivered a full concert set packed with some of the finest blues guitar playing you'll ever hear. Bobby Parker, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and Buddy Guy are all headline acts in their own right so it was a real coup to get them on one line-up. Throw in the guest live performances by Carlos Santana and Chic maestro Nile Rodgers and blues heaven is complete! Muse have been pushing the boundaries of rock music since the early 90s and with it have sold an excess of 15 million albums. Their bombastic stage shows have seen them build a huge live following and play arenas around the world. And it all started for them in the Devon town of Teignmouth. The trio’s talent and range of influences led to them winning a local battle of the bands contest and more importantly a record deal. Matt Bellamy’s guitar playing came to the fore on, ‘Origin of Symmetry’ with many of the songs featuring riffs inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Rage Against the Machine. On July 11, before a fully packed Round House theater, the band gave their fans a concert of over two hours of their best music.

This concert, filmed in 1968 during the Band's tour across Europe, include live performances of 'Spanish Caravan', 'Five to One', and two versions of 'Light My Fire'.

Johnny Cash was known by his deep, calm, Bass-baritone voice. His lyrics often contained themes of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption. He is one of the best-selling music artists. Known by his signature songs "I Walk the Line", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Ring of Fire", "A Boy Named Sue" along with duet with future wife, June Carter, called "Jackson". Although a Country music icon, his music genre-spanning songs and sound embraced rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, Folk music, and Gospel music. During the last stage of his career, Cash covered songs by several late 20th-century rock artists, notably " Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. Cash died on September 12th, 2003, in Nashville, of complications from diabetes aged 71 just 4 months after the death of his wife. It was suggested that his health worsened due to a broken heart over June's death and was buried next to her in Hendersonville.

The Austin City Limits Music Festival is an annual music festival that takes place at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas. The festival features more than 130 bands on eight stages for three days.

Jackson made his professional debut in 1964 as a member of The Jackson 5, soon becoming a dominant figure in popular music. His music videos, “Beat It", “Billie Jean", and “Thriller" are credited with breaking racism in the USA and transforming the medium into an art form. Thriller is the best-selling album of all time. Jackson was the most awarded recording artist in the history of popular music. Aspects of Jackson's personal life generated controversy and while preparing for his comeback concert series, This Is It, Jackson died of acute Propofol and Benzodiazepine intoxication on June 25, 2009, after suffering from cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner Coroner ruled his death a homicide, and his personal physician, Conrad Murray.

With a history of drug addiction and tumultuous relationships, Houston was to tragically die in her room at The Beverly Hilton on February 11, 2012, The official coroner's report showed that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
