Being from the rain-ridden lands of England, Foals are used to a different kind of festival environment: generally speaking, frontman Yannis Philippakis described them as "mud and wellies" ordeals. So we're sure they were quite pleased to travel halfway around the world to the California desert to perform for Coachella's music-hungry crowds. Prior to taking to the stage in Indio, however, Foals made a pit stop at our little poolside bungalow to perform a Festival Fever Session featuring songs off their highly-acclaimed, recent full-length Holy Fire. “Alive And Burning” drops a pin in Black Veil Brides’ career as their first ever recorded live performance. At its height, the New Musical Express had reported 500 on its bustling circuit and from two of these groups, Black Sabbath was formed. The Beatles would be a key influence for Ozzy, but bassist Geezer Butler also shaped Ozzy’s work, through his lyrics After signing to Vertigo Records in 1970, the four piece used their distinctive sound to full effect for their self-titled debut album, Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath became a commercial success, entering the UK top 10 and the US charts. In it’s first year it sold one million copies. Keen to build on the success, the band entered the studio just four months after releasing their debut. The title track, Paranoid, would lead the new album.
