T in the Park festival is a major Scottish music festival that has been held almost annually since 1994 (the event did not take place in 2017). It is named after its main sponsor, the brewing company Tennents.

Birmingham in the late 1960s was an industrial city, packed with music groups. At its height, the New Musical Express had reported 500 on its bustling circuit and from two of these groups, Black Sabbath was formed. This installment of the Classic Albums series, in which rock stars talk about the creation of their albums, focuses on the making of British Steel, the 1980 album by Judas Priest, a working class British, heavy metal band led by screechy lead singer Rob Halford. The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band's lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan "Dexter" Holland, bassist Todd Morse and lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman.

John Denver, began his music career with folk music groups during the late 1960s. Starting in the 1970s, he was one of the most popular acoustic artists of the decade and one of its best-selling artists. By 1974, he was firmly established as one of America's best-selling performers, often described as "among the most beloved entertainers of his era. Recording and releasing approximately 300 songs, with total sales of over 33 million records worldwide with his lyrics reflecting his joy in nature and disdain for city life, his enthusiasm for music, and his relationship trials. Denver, who was an avid pilot, died at the age of 53 flying his personal Canard aircraft in a single-fatality crash.

"Songs From Tsongas" is a live performance from Yes' 35th Anniversary Tour in 2004, the last tour by the band to feature the classic line-up of Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Alan White.
