UNLIMITED MILES: MILES DAVIS AT 100 John Beasley (keyboards), Sean Jones (trumpet), Mark Turner (saxophone), Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar), Ben Williams (bass), Terreon Gully (drums) Tokyo, Blue Note Tokyo, 22 April 2026 Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Miles Davis, this dream project brings together an all-star sextet led by pianist and composer John Beasley, who joined Miles Davis' band in his twenties. Joined by Sean Jones, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner, Ben Williams, Terreon Gully, and Beasley, the ensemble interpret Miles's music with their signature grooves, bold harmonies, and inspired improvisation blending the modal beauty of "Kind of Blue," the electric fire of "Bitches Brew," and the funk of “Amandla”.

The Noseda Effect A film by Alex Olegnowicz The Noseda Effect is an intimate portrait of Gianandrea Noseda, filmed over three years, from his hometown of Milan, at the famous Teatro alla Scala, and continues at the Juilliard School, the Kennedy Center, the Metropolitan Opera and the Zurich Opera. The film features interviews with his family, friends and artistic collaborators, including Piotr Beczała, Renée Fleming, Stefano Poda and many others. The film includes footage of rehearsals with the Filarmonica della Scala, the Juilliard Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, as well as a soundtrack from Noseda's extensive discography.

Jascha Heifetz - God's Fiddler Not since Paganini had there been such a magician on the violin, a musical ‘wunderkind’ who went on to set the standards for nearly a century. Through home movies and personal family photos taken from 1903-1987, this documentary filmed in Vilna, Lithuania, Saint Petersburg, Russia, and in Los Angeles, re-creates a life that spanned the 20th Century. We hear from all the great violinists of his generation, and from many of his former students who are still alive, that Heifetz was a legendary but mysterious figure whose story embodies the dual nature of artistic genius.
