Located at the Porte de Gentilly in Paris, squeezed between the ring road and the Boulevard des Maréchaux, the Charléty Stadium is bordered by the pavilions of the Cité universitaire, a cemetery and red brick HLM buildings. On this difficult eight-hectare site, marked by the fifty years of history of the old Sébastien-Charléty stadium, Henri Gaudin and his son Bruno have managed to implant the massive volume of a 20,000-seat covered stadium, as well as the sports facilities and offices commissioned by the City of Paris.
